Telehealth from Your Home

If you are homebound, need driving services from medicaid, or home with sick children, telehealth offers counseling services right in your home.

Telehealth is now covered by several insurance companies. Anthem, United HealthCare, and Medicaid allow for telehealth services in place of the conventional face-to-face session. You’ll receive simple setup instructions via email. Also, your counselor will help you get started just before your intake session. All you need is a camera, speakers or a headset, a microphone, and of course the secure website information that enables the telehealth session to take place.

The cost without insurance $45-$110 per 50 min session depending on insurance copays and financial need. This may be waived if your insurance covers telehealth therapy. Call and ask your insurance provider if your plan  includes telehealth sessions for behavioral health therapy.

Internet counseling can be affordable. The first session is more expensive because it is an intake session. First, you will have a phone conversation that will help you get your intake paperwork emailed or faxed back to us. This allows you to get your camera, microphone, and application all set up and checked out with therapist.

If you like it, we can arrange for more online counseling sessions. The cost can average $25 per 20 minute session. This may be waved if your insurance allows for online therapy. Call and ask your insurance provider. This means you can have a whole hour for $75.. Call and let's try it out.
